ASSET App Privacy Policy

Aircom’s App Privacy Policy has been developed to help you understand how Aircom collect, use and protect data from mobile apps.

Data Collection

  1. Some Aircom mobile apps make network performance measurements. For example ASSET CX. Any such app will clearly describe the key aspects of this privacy policy at time of installation, and provide a link to this policy.
  2. Network measurements are fully anonymous. No user identifying data is collected.
  3. Apps collect network and device-related data available on the mobile platform, such as connected access technology (3G, 4G, 5G, WiFi), device properties such as make and model, operating system properties such as version, mobile signal strength and network connection status.
  4. Apps make lightweight background tests to check current network conditions. These use minimal device resources and network data. Measurements include latency (delay), packet loss, jitter and lookup speed.
  5. Measurements are made when the app is open, and in the background when the device is active, as allowed by the mobile platform policies.
  6. Device location is collected when permission is granted by the user. This helps to identify the network elements in use, and relate performance to specific parts of the network. As the data is fully anonymous, users cannot be tracked.
  7. Apps do not capture any personal data, such as web sites visited, contents of messages, phone numbers called and data streamed. Devices are identified by a randomly generated code, which cannot be traced to a user.

App Usage

  1. Use of the app is voluntary and controlled entirely by the user of the device.
  2. By using the app, consent is granted for it to collect data as described under ‘Data Collection’.
  3. Apps strive to use minimal device resources, such as battery, memory and network data. Users can volunteer to help collect more network performance data by altering the battery optimization setting.

Data Usage

  1. Network measurements are made for the sole purpose of analyzing network performance and improving mobile networks.
  2. Any data collected cannot be traced to a user, and is only used to help build anonymous statistics.
  3. All data is strictly protected from unauthorized use through stringent security protocols.
  4. Aircom may share anonymous network performance statistics with network operators, regulators or other authorities responsible for providing network infrastructure and services.

Data Retention

Aircom retains the collected network and device measurement data for 18 months to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy. After this period, the data is either permanently deleted or aggregated into summary reports that do not contain unique device identifiers. If a user uninstalls the app, data previously collected may remain in our anonymous statistics database in accordance with this retention schedule.

Your Rights (Data Deletion and Control)

We respect your control over your data. Depending on your location (such as the EU under GDPR or California under CCPA), you may have specific rights regarding the information we collect:

Opt-Out/Withdraw Consent


You may stop all collection of information by the app easily by uninstalling the application. You may also use the standard operating system settings on your mobile device to withdraw permissions for Location services at any time.

Right to Delete Your Data

Our app does not collect personal information such as your name or email address. However, performance test results are associated with a randomly generated installation identifier (Device ID).

You may request deletion of all performance data associated with your Device ID at any time.

To request deletion, please:

  1. Open the app and navigate to About to find your Device ID.
  2. Send an email to assetcx-support@teoco.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include your Device ID.

We will process and delete the associated data from our servers within 30 business days of verifying the request.

Children’s Privacy

Our apps are suitable for all ages.

Data Storage and Third-Party Processing

Data collected by the app is processed and stored on secure servers located in several jurisdictions, including the UK and Singapore. We may use trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting providers) to help maintain our services. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and are not authorized to access the data.
