The Problem

• Refarming of 63% spectrum country wide GSM 1800 network.
• Traffic analysis to be done to calculate TRX cut proposal.

The Solution

• Ultima Forte tool was used to refarm 63% of GSM 1800 network.
• BCCH, BCCH-BSIC and Neighbor cleanup followed by data collection (PM,CM and MRs) using fully automated collection platform for multiple OEM’s.
• Processing collected data to generate the Interference matrix.
• Traffic analysis and TRX upgrade/downgrade recommendations.
• Built the various AFP strategies and finalize the best suited AFP in collaboration with concerned stakeholders.

• KPI’s were maintained and improved.
• Spectrum freed to use for other technologies.
