Aircom Continues to Add Innovative 5G Analytics Capabilities to its RAN Optimization Suite
New Mentor 2023 Release Introduces a Host of New AI-Backed Features, Paving the Way for Personalized 5G Services and Network Slicing

Aircom continues to provide its global customer base with innovative tools for optimizing RAN network performance and the subscriber experience. The latest release of Aircom’s optimization suite, Mentor 2023.1, expands the breadth of analytics use cases, with a particular focus on 5G geo-analytics and optimization using advanced AI machine learning algorithms.
Mentor is a suite of solutions that allow users to analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot radio access networks – across devices, subscribers, and locations. Its capabilities are designed for all types and sizes of mobile networks, including 5G, Fixed Wireless, and Private Networks.
In this release, Mentor’s CogniSense Engineering Analytics Application is now expanded to include 5G, enabling seamless multi-technology 2G/3G/4G/5G support. Network Engineers can now analyze 5G metrics in multiple ways, through customized dashboards and automated reports, by using natural language requests, or by simply dragging and dropping various UI components such as tables, charts, and KPI metric criteria. In addition, users can drill down into rich data for a more comprehensive analysis or for troubleshooting a network issue.
This latest Mentor release also supports 5G Performance Management (PM) counters and KPIs, going beyond traditional cell-level KPI analysis to include service level maps and KPIs that better reflect the subscriber experience. In addition, the Mentor 2023.1 release is now more tightly integrated with Aircom’s network planning suite, ASSET, providing users with access to additional capabilities that enhance 5G network planning accuracy.
