Aircom Advances Mentor v2026.1 for Smarter 5G Operations and Proactive Network Intelligence

The latest release expands 5G support, strengthens subscriber and area-based analytics, and improves operational visibility for complex multi-vendor networks.

FAIRFAX, VA, USA, August 20, 2026: Aircom today announced the availability of Mentor v2026.1, the latest release of its network intelligence and optimization suite.

Mentor v2026.1 enhances capabilities for RAN engineering and operations teams as networks evolve toward 5G Standalone, multi-vendor environments, and more data-driven operations. The release strengthens 5G slicing analysis, introduces a unified subscriber experience indicator for VIP users, expands optimization capabilities, and improves system health monitoring to help detect issues earlier.

What’s New in Mentor v2026.1

  • Expanded 5G Standalone and network slicing analysis – Mentor provides deeper visibility into the performance of differentiated 5G services and network slices, helping operators analyze service-level behavior beyond network-wide performance views.
  • Broader 5G multi-vendor intelligence and optimization – Expanded vendor support and 5G optimization capabilities strengthen performance analysis and optimization across heterogeneous RAN environments.
  • Simplified VIP subscriber experience intelligence – A new configurable experience indicator in CogniSense consolidates multiple network measurements into a single view of VIP radio experience across coverage, quality, retainability and integrity.
  • Expanded system health monitoring – A new dashboard provides data-processing health and trends, enabling earlier identification of potential system and data issues.

“The new Mentor release advances its network intelligence and optimization capabilities for operators managing increasingly complex 5G and multi-vendor networks,” says Yony Dvory, Product Director, Aircom. “By strengthening the intelligence available to RAN engineering teams today, Mentor v2026.1 further develops the trusted network data foundation that Agentic AI platforms will increasingly depend on.”

Deeper Visibility into 5G Standalone and Network Slicing

Mentor v2026.1 extends 5G Standalone analysis to differentiated services and network slices, allowing operators to assess performance beyond network-wide KPIs.

Engineering teams can analyze performance across 5G services such as Enhanced Mobile Broadband, Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications, and Massive IoT, providing a more targeted view of how different service requirements are being supported across the network.

Broader 5G Multi-Vendor Analysis and Optimization

Mentor v2026.1 extends 5G analysis across additional vendor environments, covering performance, coverage, events, traffic, and subscriber insights across heterogeneous RAN deployments.

The release also expands 5G optimization, enabling teams to identify network issues and determine optimization actions within the same analytical environment. This extends Mentor’s analysis and optimization workflows across a broader 5G network footprint.

Simplifying VIP Subscriber Experience

Mentor v2026.1 introduces a configurable experience indicator that combines multiple network measurements into a single view of each VIP subscriber’s radio experience across coverage, quality, retainability, and integrity.

Engineering teams can identify VIP subscribers with poor radio experience and isolate the dimensions contributing to degradation without interpreting each measurement independently. This provides a faster route from detecting a subscriber experience issue to focusing the subsequent investigation.

Expanding Area-Based Performance Intelligence

Mentor v2026.1 also extends Areas of Interest Analytics across additional mobile technologies, providing operators with a broader view of network performance within geographic areas that are important to the business.

By analyzing performance at an area level rather than relying only on individual network elements, operators can monitor priority locations more consistently, identify emerging performance issues and focus engineering resources where they can have the greatest impact.

Stronger System Health and Data Visibility

The new System Health dashboard provides visibility into the data-processing environment supporting Mentor analytics. Teams can monitor daily trends, identify abnormal activity, and use geographic views and alerts to localize potential data or processing issues.

This enables problems in the analytics environment to be detected earlier and investigated before they affect subsequent analysis. The release also incorporates notification enhancements and security updates as part of the platform improvements in Mentor v2026.1.

Mentor v2026.1 brings together deeper 5G Standalone and network slicing intelligence, broader multi-vendor analysis and optimization, simplified subscriber experience insights, expanded geographic performance intelligence, and stronger system health monitoring. Together, these enhancements help operators extract more actionable intelligence from increasingly complex networks and support more efficient, data-driven RAN operations.
