Mentor v2025.2 Shifts Network Operations from Reactive Troubleshooting to Continuous Performance Intelligence

Aircom’s Mentor v2025.2 Shifts Network Operations from Reactive Troubleshooting to Continuous Performance Intelligence

With major CogniSense enhancements, Mentor v2025.2 enables proactive, area-based performance monitoring and automated site certification—without relying on traditional drive tests.

FAIRFAX, VA, USA – February 12, 2026: Aircom announces the general availability of Mentor v2025.2, introducing an enhanced operational model powered by new CogniSense capabilities. The release enables operators to continuously monitor network performance, detect emerging issues earlier, and validate network changes with greater confidence. By combining cell trace intelligence, geospatial analytics, and automated certification workflows, Mentor v2025.2 helps teams move from after-the-fact analysis to proactive, ongoing performance management.

As networks scale and evolve across multiple technologies, traditional approaches to performance monitoring and validation—often reliant on manual analysis or drive tests—are increasingly inefficient. Mentor v2025.2 addresses this challenge by introducing new CogniSense applications that operationalize area-based analytics, automated certification, and continuous performance qualification using cell trace–driven intelligence.

“Operators need earlier insight and greater confidence in how their networks are performing—before issues impact customers,” says Khurram Chaudhury, VP – Product Management and Engineering, Aircom.“Mentor v2025.2 strengthens CogniSense to support continuous performance intelligence, helping teams detect emerging issues sooner, validate changes faster, and reduce operational overhead.”

Advancing Proactive Performance Management with CogniSense

Area-Based Performance Intelligence

Mentor v2025.2 introduces a new Areas of Interest Analytics application that enables continuous monitoring of defined geographic areas using cell trace–based KPIs. Operators can track performance trends over time, compare pre- and post-optimization behavior, and qualify areas based on configurable KPI thresholds.

By shifting the focus from individual cells to areas of interest, the application helps teams proactively identify emerging degradations and prioritize corrective action.

Automated Site Performance Certification

The release also adds a new Site Performance Certification application that enables operators to certify and monitor cells and sites before and after planned changes—without relying on traditional drive tests.

Using a combination of cell trace and performance management KPIs, the application automates certification workflows, supports structured pre- and post-change comparisons, and provides clear visibility into certification status across cells under review and their surrounding environments.

“The CogniSense enhancements in Mentor 2025.2 are designed to make RAN engineering management proactive, practical, and scalable,” said Yony Dvory, Director of Product Management, Aircom. “By combining geospatial analytics, cell trace intelligence, and automated certification, we enable operators to manage network performance continuously, reduce manual effort, and improve engineering productivity.”

Platform and Ecosystem Enhancements

Mentor v2025.2 further enhances KPI selection and cell visualization, making analysis more intuitive, reducing the risk of misinterpretation during troubleshooting, particularly in dense or high-traffic network areas.

In addition to CogniSense advancements, Mentor v2025.2 includes a range of platform, system, and vendor support updates that improve scalability, deployment flexibility, and integration—supporting large-scale operator environments and partner-led deployments.

Mentor v2025.2 reinforces Aircom’s commitment to helping operators simplify operations, reduce manual effort, and gain deeper insight into network behavior through intelligent analytics and automation.
